Today Big Dog has been so grown up. He's been sharing his toys, playing nicely with the dogs, helping me with all kinds of things. After lunch, when he brought the plates to the sink, I asked him, "When did you go and get so big?"
"What?" he replied.
"When do you become such a big boy. You used to be a tiny baby, I could hold you on one arm!" I said.
"Guess what mama," he says
"What, Big Dog?"
"Little babies grow up. They grow into big boys and big girls." and with that he went on about his business.
I get the feeling he was a little disappointed in my lack of understanding of the development process.
