Are you cool enough? Are you? (aka. my first giveaway!)

You've probably noticed by now that I don't have any advertising on this blog. I'm not trying to make any money here, my goal, as I've said before is to "Parent locally, embarrass internationally" and I think I do that pretty well without sponsors. This means that I completely control the content of this blog, which in addition to making me drunk with power, means that anything that is linked on this site is something I actually use or I think is cool enough to belong here.

So, when I was contacted by a very cool twitterer @cindyoohlala, owner of OohLalaMama, a super cool baby apparel site about doing a giveaway, I was thrilled. As a mom of two boys, I have faced the challenges of finding cool clothes for these guys that aren't cutsie or overly sports oriented. Cindy and her husband, Scott, found the same challenges. They wanted edgier clothes for their kids that were still soft and cuddly against their baby's skin. Instead of just sitting back and bitching about it like I do, they started their own company.

You might have seen their designs on Jamie Pressly's son Dezi James, or Laila Ali's baby Curtis. They've also been featured on Cool Mom Picks! And guess what, they're giving away a $50 gift certificate for OohlalaMama to one of my readers.

How to Enter:
To Win the $50 Gift Certificate to OohlalaMama:

1. Leave a comment on this blog. Yes, it is that easy. On Monday December 22nd at 5:00 p.m. I'll pick one lucky winner (using a random number generator) to receive this cool gift.
2. Want to up your odds? Add a link on your blog to this giveaway, then send me that link.
3. Not good enough? Fine, tweet about the giveaway and I'll add an entry for you.

I just hope your child, or the child you intend to gift this to is cool enough. (but if you read this blog, I'm pretty sure they are!)

Wow you have a giveaway? You've hit the bigtime!

I'm not entering btw. I have no children and I'm too fat to wear those clothes on my own body anymore.

I love that onesie!

We're expecting our first in March, and I've been pretty shocked at how few cute, comfy, stylish clothes there are for babies and tots.

Thanks for the opportunity!
