A new wind blowing.

There are many things beyond my control. The economy, the weather, the actions of others, the size of my gigantic feet. And there are others that I can control. My reactions to the actions of others, my fear of the unknown and the size of my gigantic ass.
Ok, I may not be able to control the first two on the list, and it certainly feels like that third one has a mind of it's own, but you get the idea. I don't always feel like I have much control, and I frequently feel the strain and stress wash over me. On Wednesday I talked with a woman I admire at work, and she validated my frustrations. Good news, at least on one front, I am not crazy. On Friday, I had another great conversation with a co-worker. It was about work, but when I left the office that night, I felt like it had been a directive for my life in general. I am not a slave to the external forces of life. I can stand up and take charge, I just have to get the hell up. Well world, watch out. I'm standing up. I'm going to start making some of those changes that I need to make to stay sane. Consider this your fair warning.

You go girl. Whatever it is you need to do. Anything to destress is a good thing.

Atta girl! Sometimes epiphany moments happen at the most mundane times.

May the wind behind you always be your own. (as they say in Ireland)

Relinquishing control is very empowering. Good luck!
