Well it is that time of year again. Time to make promises to yourself and hope like hell you can keep them for the whole year, possibly bettering your life as a result, or just driving yourself insane trying. Or just forgetting them all as the result of your New Year's Eve revelry.
Last year I tried anti-resolutions, but they still didn't work out how I had hoped, so this year it is back to the basics.
My resolutions for 2008 are:
1. Poop and pee in the potty every day (don't ask)
2. Actually use my reusable grocery bags as an attempt to be more green.
3. And while I'm reducing my carbon-footprint, I will also try to reduce my assprint.
4. Actually use my gym membership as an attempt to drop a few pounds, thereby reducing that afore mentioned assprint.
5. Be more social, have people over and start a neighborhood "Soup Night" (I'm sure many a blog will follow on that topic)
6. Try to stay more positive and not worry about all of the little stuff so much
7. Actually take my Zoloft as an attempt to keep myself out of the dumps.
8. Smile more
9. Laugh more
10. Spend more grown up time with my wonderful husband, who I tend to neglect when I get busy or stressed.
I think 10 is plenty, so I'll stop here. I'm off to a good start though, I have a good handle on that first one!

You are a stronger woman than I. I only wrote out four goals. I know I could not achieve your first one. That is asking too much.
